Behind the Walls

Taupō district · New build · Electrical workmanship

Ceiling runsCarefully planned cable routes keep the installation organised and accessible before the ceiling is closed.

The quality of an electrical installation is often most visible before the walls and ceilings are closed in.

At Balance, we put the same level of care into the work that will never be seen as we do into the finished fittings. Cable routes are planned before installation, runs are kept clean and organised, drops are grouped logically, and services are coordinated with the structure and other trades from the outset.

Good pre-wiring is about more than appearance. Careful routing and clear organisation make the installation easier to complete, easier to identify and easier to service in the future. It also reduces unnecessary congestion behind linings and allows the final electrical fit-off to be completed cleanly and accurately.

From switchboards and sub-mains through to lighting, power, data, automation and mechanical services, we approach the rough-in as the foundation of the finished electrical system.

For us, workmanship doesn’t start when the lights go on. It starts with what goes behind the walls.
